Add an extra layer of security into your system by sending a One Time Password (OTP) via SMS to your customers and protect their accounts.

Step 1 - Build 2FA into your system

Burst SMS cannot generate the One Time Password (OTP), we simply make sure it reaches your audience. You can generate the OTP from your own system or preferred third party tool. Your developer will likely know exactly how to build this into your current technology stack.

Step 2 - Send verification code via SMS

Use our Send-SMS API call to send an SMS with the verification code to your customer's mobile number. Making API calls like this is something that your developer will need to code this into your system. Of course, we can help you with this. In the meantime, here is more of our API documentation:

Step 3 - Customer enters verification code on your system

Burst SMS will send a message from your account the moment the API call reaches our system. Meaning your customer can immediately enter their verification code on your website or app to validate their identity before continuing on.
